Competition for the development of a 3D model of a SSUGT souvenir

In the period from October 27 to November 3, 2022 within the framework of the Youth Scientific and Practical Conference "Engineering Graphics and 3D Modeling", with the support of the artificial intelligence laboratory and the transfer and technology center, a competition will be held for the best development of a 3D model of a souvenir SGUGiT.

All students of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies can participate in the competition.

To participate in the competition, you must send an application containing your full name, course, group number, as well as the competition work to the organizers by e-mail before November 3, 23:59 (inclusive) sharapov_artem@mail.ru. The competitive work must represent the author's three-dimensional model of the souvenir and MUST meet the following requirements:

• souvenir model must match the brand of the university;
• the actual dimensions of the finished model should not exceed 100x100x100 mm;
• the file with the 3D model must be saved in *.STL format.

The format of participation is individual. One participant can send one model to the competition.

Entries will be judged by an expert jury based on several criteria, including:

• newness;
• originality of design;
• the level of quality and detail of the model;
• structural qualities of the finished product;
• degree of conformity of the souvenir with the brand of the university.

A master class on the theoretical and practical foundations of modern 3D modeling and printing will be organized for all participants of the competition.

After the deadline for accepting applications, all 3D models will be printed on a 3D printer and presented at the Youth Scientific and Practical Conference "Engineering Graphics and 3D Modeling" on November 10, 2022. All participants of the competition will be awarded with certificates, and the best work will be awarded with a diploma of the winner.
