Postgraduate courses of the SSUGT (NIIGAiK) were open in October 1946 and specialized in two scientific specialties: "Geodesy" and "Aerial and Satellite Photography, Photogrammetry, Photo-topography".

Presently, academic and teaching staff is trained at the SSUGT’s postgraduate courses in the following scientific specialties:
