A student of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technology, Danila Novichikhin, studying in the field of "Information Systems and Technologies", presented software designed to simplify the process of standard control of reporting documentation. The software will reduce the verification time and minimize human errors. The development is carried out on the basis of the Center for Technology Transfer of SSUGT.

Manual verification of the structure, design and compliance with standards of student work remains labor-intensive and not always accurate. The new software automates these processes using the STO QMS SSUGT-2024 standard. The system analyzes fonts, headings, volume of work, links, tables, images and other parameters, ensuring compliance with university requirements.

Based on the results of testing on 39 coursework papers of 2023, it was found that the accuracy of error detection increased from 75% to 95%. False positives were eliminated, and the processing of non-standard formatting was improved. According to the developer, the system is ready for implementation in the educational process.

– Automation of quality control processes is an important step in the digitalization of education. This not only saves teachers' time, but also helps students better understand the requirements for the design of work,
– noted software developer Danila Novichikhin.
– I am currently testing the program. I would like to note that it will really be useful and convenient for checking the design of final student qualification papers: automation of routine tasks, error highlighting and an intuitive interface significantly save time,
– commented Stanislav Yuryevich Katsko, associate professor of the Department of Applied Informatics and Information Systems.

The software for automating quality control processes is planned to be used at SSUGT in the next academic year.
