Entrepreneurial Competency Training: How to Create Your Own Tech Startup in 6 Steps

On September 26, the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies held a training course on entrepreneurial competencies, “How to Create Your Own Technological Startup in 6 Steps.” The training was conducted by the startup studio “Open Innovations” as part of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform.” 64 people took part in the training.

The training from the startup studio “Open Innovations” was conducted by trainer Andrey Grishin and his assistant Yulia Khabibova.

The “TechPred” training helps to achieve a tangible result: to develop a project idea from scratch and prepare it for pitching. The training participants had the opportunity to try themselves in the role of a technological entrepreneur and understand that this is possible: by developing their idea and creating the conditions for its implementation.

During the training, students practiced skills for product development and tools that help to pack a stream of consciousness into artifacts of a technological startup. The most active participants of the training received gifts.

– The training left the most positive impressions on me. I really liked the speaker Andrey, who skillfully combined theory and practice, answered any questions and found a common language with everyone. We not only listened to an interesting theory, but also practiced public speaking and self-presentation. We learned how to work competently in a group, distribute responsibilities and find a compromise. I learned a lot of new things, - said first-year student of the Innovation program Konstantin Ziborov.
