Innovative platform for creating bots «Octopusbot»

The team of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies – a graduate of the Information Technology program Anton Vlasenko, 5th-year students of the Mining program Vladislav Golovin and Diana Galenya developed an innovative platform for creating bots and successfully launched it.

The innovative platform allows you to create an unlimited number of bots to solve specific problems in various departments. One of the first applications of this technology was a feedback service for improving the quality of life in the dormitory.

The platform includes a visualization system and a chat bot for Telegram, allowing students to easily report on the state of housing and living conditions and their ideas for improving life in the dormitory. To interact, just scan the QR code leading to the bot and fill out the request form. The request is automatically transferred to the appropriate structure of the dormitory administration, which significantly simplifies the communication and response process.

– The effectiveness of the solution is confirmed by the implementation act, the platform demonstrates its usefulness in real conditions. In the future, we plan to expand its functionality and offer the platform to other structures and companies of the city, - said developer Anton Vlasenko.

Director of the student campus No. 1 of SSUGIT Sergey Nikolaevich Popov shared his impressions of the first results of using the service:

– This service is a direct communication channel between students and the administration, allowing you to anonymously report a problem, suggest initiatives to improve the quality of life or simply leave feedback on the work of the student campus structures. In the era of digital technologies, such a platform is becoming a necessity, and we are happy to meet the requirements of the time.

The platform has been functioning for two months, in the future it is planned to use this development not only in the SSUGIT dormitory, but also to distribute it throughout the city. At the moment, the developers are looking for clients.
