Open Doors Day was held at SSUGT

On November 19, the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies opened its doors to applicants and their parents. This event was attended by about 300 schoolchildren and their parents from Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region.

The official part was opened by Svetlana Sergeevna Yankelevich, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, who spoke about the advantages of the university, projects and achievements of the university and the vibrant student life of students. During the official part, the applicants learned about the specialties and directions of the university, places of practice and employment, and looked at the performances of student groups.

In the foyer of the first floor there was an exhibition where everyone could take a master class on creating 3D panoramas and get acquainted with virtual reality in the cadastre. The guests could not only learn a lot about the university and see the future place of study with their own eyes, but also have the most interesting time.

At the Open Day of the university, everyone could take part in the game "Digital Earth", go on an excursion to the Center for Engineering and Robotics, the Scientific, Educational and Production Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems, the SGUGiT Planetarium, take an information security quest and attend a master class on geodesy.
