Opening of the XXI Forum «Interexpo GEO-Siberia 2025»
On May 21, the 21st International Exhibition and Scientific Congress «Interexpo GEO-Siberia» - the largest Forum in Russia in the field of geospatial activities - started at the Novosibirsk Expocentre International Exhibition Complex. This year, the theme of the Forum is «Economics of Spatial Data».
As part of the grand opening of the Forum, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Aleksandrovich Travnikov, Deputy Mayor of the city of Novosibirsk Evgeny Vladimirovich Popantonopulo, President of the Association «National Association of Self-Regulatory Organizations of Cadastral Engineers» Alla Grigoryevna Ovchinnikova and Head of the Direct Sales Department of the Novosibirsk branch of PJSC «Sberbank» Lyudmila Nikolaevna Makhneva made welcoming speeches.
The event is intended to give impetus to the development of an international scientific and practical platform for constructive professional discussion of a wide range of theoretical problems and best practices in the functional areas of geospatial activity.
A number of key events are planned for the first day of the forum, including a plenary session «Spatial data as a driver for the development of economic processes», a TEDx conference «Frontiers of geospatial activity», panel discussions, round tables and master classes, an international student geodetic Olympiad, discussion and presentation platforms where company representatives will present their products and developments.
The business program of the forum is aimed at practical results in the field of innovation implementation, scaling best practices, interaction between government bodies, business and development institutions.
The exhibition exposition «Interexpo GEO-Siberia» presents new developments in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, specialized software (photogrammetry, cartography, GIS, digital platforms), digital services and systems for implementation in the urban environment, agriculture, territorial management, etc.
The forum is held with the support of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Siberian Federal District, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, with the participation of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and representatives of the largest Russian and foreign companies, universities, institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The organizers of the Forum are the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies, the Association «National Association of Self-Regulatory Organizations of Cadastral Engineers», the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, the City Hall of Novosibirsk, the Office of Rosreestr for the Novosibirsk Region, the PPC «Roskadastr», the MEC «Novosibirsk Expocentre» and the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography.
