SSUGT became a provider of the federal project "Personnel for BAS"

Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies has successfully passed the selection and become a provider for the implementation of flexible educational trajectories within the framework of the federal project "Personnel for Unmanned Aircraft Systems" (UAS). The main goal of the project is to train 5,000 citizens in 2025 in programs related to the development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems, which will contribute to the development of the industry in Russia.

Let us recall that in 2024, SSUGT already became a support center for the training of youth engineering teams within the framework of this project. The university has successfully implemented projects to solve engineering problems for companies working in the UAS field.

53 educational organizations from 28 regions of Russia participated in the open selection of providers for 2025. Based on the results of the selection, 35 of them, including SSUGT, were recognized as compliant. Only organizations with proven experience in implementing educational programs in the field of UAS, having trained at least 150 people since 2022, could participate in the selection.

– Participation in the "Personnel for UAS" project is not only recognition of our experience and competencies, but also an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of the high-tech industry of unmanned aircraft systems. We are ready to provide high-quality training of specialists who will be in demand in this promising area. This is an important step to strengthen the scientific and technical sovereignty of the Russian Federation,

The "Personnel for UAS" project is part of the strategy for the development of high-tech industries in Russia, and SSUGIT continues to strengthen its position as a leading educational center in the field of geosystems and technologies.
