This control system has been tested in a specialized company. The project mentor and scientific supervisor is Associate Professor of the Information Security Department Valentin Valerievich Selifanov.
The information security incident control system, implemented as a web application, allows you to register information security incidents, issue recommendations for their elimination, notify, conveniently monitor their status, and save processed incidents for their further investigation and "debriefing".
The system includes a control module - blocking IP, domains (URI), closing network ports (interaction with security tools via API), checking IP by geolocation with an accuracy of the city, as well as viewing this information in the web interface.
– Since this system was developed as part of my diploma work, I started developing it before my final year. The project was complex, because neither the FSTEC nor the FSB have requirements for the functionality and security of systems of this class. Formation of requirements, functionality and design of the architecture took quite a long period of time. The development and deployment of the product took one calendar year. At the time of creating this system, I considered all the work to be quite difficult, but very interesting. During the development process, I had to master a new programming language. However, having gone through all the stages of development, deployment and testing, I understand that thanks to the project I was able to really learn a lot, and now I apply this knowledge and skills in my current work. My example can tell students that a final qualifying work is something that should be approached with great interest and ambition, and then the writing of the work will be productive,
