SSUGT has developed an interactive atlas of the Novosibirsk region for children
The Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies has created an electronic educational atlas of the Novosibirsk Region, designed for children. The project was developed by student Victoria Lipovitskaya under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics Lyudmila Radchenko.
The new atlas is a modern digital product that combines cartographic data, illustrations and interactive elements. It is designed to develop children's interest in the geography, history and culture of their native land. The atlas includes two main sections: an introductory part with a user manual and general information about the region, as well as a main block with thematic maps, descriptions and graphic materials.
According to the scientific director of the work, the atlas promotes the development of patriotism and environmental awareness in the younger generation.
The project has already received positive feedback from teachers and experts in the field of education. In the future, the developers plan to expand the functionality of the atlas by adding new interactive elements and thematic sections.
SSUGT continues to develop digital educational technologies, offering innovative solutions for teaching and popularizing science among children and young people.
