SSUGT held a bright and creative "Initiation into Students"!

On September 23-25, a large-scale event, "Initiation into Students", was held at the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies for students of the ICP, IOiTIB, and IGiM. The event was held on the sports ground behind the dormitory.

Acting Rector, Vice-Rector for Educational and Youth Policy Svetlana Sergeevna Yankelevich, Deputy Director of IGiM Viktor Semenovich Pisarev, Director of IOiTIB Aelita Vladimirovna Shaburova, Deputy Director of ICP Galina Ivanovna Yurina congratulated the first-year students on this event.

The event was organized by the Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy of SSUGT within the framework of the Federal Program "Your Move".

"Initiation into Students" is held in the form of a quest, where feelings of unity and cohesion are acquired.

The program of the holiday included 11 stations, at each station the teams had to complete various tasks: transfer a person to another station; pass the phone around in a group, naming interesting facts about a person; line up in the correct order, which is reported by the host and other competition tasks.

At the end of each day of the "Initiation into Students" there was a festival of colors and a drawing of prizes and gifts from partners "Max-Bus", "Potehin", "Bochkari", as well as branded souvenirs from SSUGT.

- This year the holiday was held for 18 teams (30 academic groups of first-year students). The event helps team building of student groups, stimulates the creative activity of students, promotes the manifestation of organizational skills and helps to form a corporate culture, - said a specialist in work with young people, organizer of the event, 1st year postgraduate student of the training program "Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring" Alexander Ryazantsev.

Following the results of the holiday, the organizers conducted an anonymous survey among students and received pleasant feedback:

- You are super! I want to participate in all the events of SSUGT!
- Everything is great, I hope to also conduct an initiation for first-year students someday!
– I will advise everyone to participate in this event, the coolest project and the best organizers!
