SSUGT students presented the TripTed app for choosing verified vacation spots
Students from the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies have developed a mobile application TripTed, which helps users choose proven places for recreation. The project has already entered the top 1000 startups in Russia and took 183rd place in the reserve rating of student initiatives.
According to the study, many residents of Novosibirsk face the problem of irrelevant recommendations on aggregators, which complicates the search for suitable places for leisure. TripTed offers a catalog of locations verified by experts over five months, filters by mood, category and time, as well as a calendar of events and routes compiled by locals.
The application includes three main sections: locations (restaurants, entertainment, etc.), a calendar with a poster of events and ready-made routes for recreation. The developers emphasize honest descriptions without algorithmic recommendations, integration with social networks and messengers, as well as the ability for establishments to place advertisements.
The project is being developed by Maria Salmina (head), Alexander Borodin (finance) and Diana Garifullina (marketing). The team plans to expand the service and enter other cities.
