SSUGT Summer School has ended

At the beginning of June, a summer school was held at the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies. Its participants were students in grades 7-10 from secondary schools No. 3 and No. 6 in the Kuibyshev region, as well as from secondary school No. 40 in Novosibirsk. For four days the guys were immersed in the life of the university.

Especially for young guests of the university, business games, professional tests, master classes on metrology, materials science, circuit design, optics, information security, innovation, UAV piloting, and technological entrepreneurship were held. After the classes, a visit was organized to the Presentation Center for IT projects “IT-HUB”, the Competence Center for Robotics, as well as the SSUGT Planetarium and their astronomy sites.

On the last day, summer school participants created and presented their innovative projects at an intensive course on technological entrepreneurship. The event ended with the presentation of certificates of participants and memorable gifts. The summer school participants, accompanying teachers and parents received a lot of pleasant impressions and left positive feedback.

– Everything went well. We liked everything, especially programming the boards and the Planetarium. The food was very tasty and filling, we became friends with the team and were united. We liked the closing, and the gifts were pleasant for us. We would like to see more events like this,” students from Secondary School No. 40 in Novosibirsk shared their feedback. They also promised to return to the university as students.

In turn, students from the Kuybyshevsky district noted the informativeness of the lectures, the respectful approach of the teachers and the educational side of the event. The students noted that they also managed to find many new friends. The guys said that now, after completing their studies at school, they are more likely to choose SSUGT for admission.
