The project of graduates of SSUGT became part of the business incubator
On November 7, the winners of the A: START accelerator presented their startups in the Novosibirsk Academpark. The project of graduates of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies was included in the business incubator. In total, 19 projects were selected by experts. Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Irina Manuilova got acquainted with the new developments of Novosibirsk innovators in the business incubator during the press tour.
– The Government of the Novosibirsk Region, the Ministry of Science and Innovation Policy of the region, the Novosibirsk Regional Innovation Fund provide comprehensive assistance and support to Academpark projects. This time, 47 students and 14 employees of the Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences took part in the program. At the accelerator, the teams tested their business ideas and products on the market, found their first clients, developed project development strategies and studied management and promotion tools for startups. Each project was developed with the support of experienced mentors. It is very important that young startuppers receive comprehensive support from all development institutions and the state, - noted Irina Manuilova.
- The HTRV project is an automation system for teaching the visually impaired. We will sign documents for residency and will be invited to the Expert Council of AkademPark. A press tour with journalists and the government of the Novosibirsk Region was held the other day. We presented them with 3 promising projects from AkademPark, including ours, - said SSUGIT graduate and project manager Margarita Frolova.
The HTRV project was developed jointly with SSUGIT senior lecturer Ruslan Grishin and 2nd year postgraduate student Daniil Mamaev. According to the project manager, Daniil is responsible for programming the hardware installation and designing the tripod, Ruslan is responsible for writing the desktop application. The project manager expresses gratitude to the guys and notes that he is proud of his assistants.
