Students

SSUGT is a comfortable environment for learning and research activities. The practice-oriented focus of all educational programs allows students to successfully develop professional competencies at enterprises in Novosibirsk during their studies, and in the summer to undergo educational, educational-industrial and industrial practices at the university's training grounds, as well as at enterprises located in the Russian Federation, where many of them are employed after completing their studies.

In order to improve the quality of education and upbringing of students, the system of scientific research work is being purposefully strengthened at SSUGT. Students of the university, under the guidance of teachers of the departments, take an active part and win prizes in Olympiads and competitions of regional, regional and all-Russian scale.

Every year, students participate in many interuniversity Olympiads and competitions. Our students are winners and prize winners of the All-Russian competition organized by the Non-Governmental Ecological Fund for the purpose of awarding scholarships named after V. I. Vernadsky; prize winners of the All-Russian competition of final qualifying works in the areas of "Optical Engineering", "Instrument Engineering"; winners and prize winners of regional Olympiads on life safety and labor protection in Novosibirsk; prize winners of All-Russian Olympiads in optical engineering, etc.

Every year, students of SSUGT become scholarship holders of the mayor's office, the governor and government of the Novosibirsk region, the Government of the Russian Federation and the President of the Russian Federation.
