Area of professional practice and (or) activities, field (area) of curriculum of Geodesy:

  • Obtaining of spatial information on surface and physical fields of the Earth, the object of the Earth, circum-Earth and outer space, reflection of the Earth surface or some of its territories in maps and digital models;
  • Coordinate-temporal measurements of objects, phenomena and processes on the Earth surface and in the outer space;
  • Collection, storage and distribution of geo-spatial data both in the Russian Federation in general and in separate regions to develop their infrastructure.

Area of professional practice and (or) activities, field (area) of curriculum of Remote sensing of natural resources:

  • Obtaining of metric and semantic information about objects and phenomena based on their images for the land, circum-Earth and outer space;
  • Development and improvement of methods, means and technologies of collection and processing of the spatial information based on various types of images;
  • Collection, storage, distribution and provision of geo-spatial data both in the Russian Federation in general and in separate regions to develop their infrastructure.

Relevance of graduates, field (area) of curriculum of Geodesy: graduates can work:

  • In organizations and institutions doing topographic-geodesic, mapping, land use, surveying (geodesy companies and organizations, design and surveying organizations, land development entities, construction organizations, extraction and mining companies, etc .) in the Siberian Federal District, Eastern Siberia, the Far East, in Crimea, in Sochi, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan;
  • In industrial research institutes, the RAS institutes and higher education institutions of Russia.

Relevance of graduates, field (area) of curriculum of Remote sensing of natural resources: graduates can work in organizations and institutions working with aerophotography, topography and geodesy, mapping, land development, surveying, centers of satellite information (aerogeodesic enterprises, geodesic organizations, engineering and surveying entities, land development entities, excavation and mining enterprises, etc.); in industrial research institutions, the RAS institutions, and (or) higher education institutions.
