• Establishment, implementation and monitoring of standards, regulations and requirements to products (services), manufacturing process, application (utilization), transportation and disposal;
• Participation in the development of metrological processes, metrological inspection and control to ensure unified measurement, high quality and safety of products (services), high economic efficiency for manufacturers and consumers based on the up-to-date methods of quality management while following utilization and safety requirements;
• Participation in the development of quality management systems as applied to the definite conditions of production and sales based on Russian and international regulations;
• Management of systems ensuring compliance of products, processes and services to the stated requirements.

Relevance of graduates: graduates can:

• work in institutions and enterprises working to ensure the unified measurements developing and utilizing the state standards of measurement units and services in the applied metrology, standardization and confirmation of compliance of products, processes and services (research institutes, state centers of measurement systems testing, metrological departments of military enterprises;
• perform research in research institutes of metrology, as well as industrial and the RAS institutes.
