On March 27, the 13th Student Youth Festival "World of Science and Creativity" concluded with a flourish and ceremony at the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies. The finale of one season served as the starting point for the next: the 14th Festival also kicked off.

"World of Science and Creativity" is more than just a calendar of events; it's a true environment for nurturing future researchers, a space for bold experiments, and a stage for the most talented. Over the years, SSUGT has become a magnet for young people striving for new knowledge, ambitious projects, and creative self-expression. The festival has long since expanded beyond the university, bringing together dozens of events at the regional, provincial, national, and international levels.

The 13th season culminated with an awards ceremony honoring those who advance science through their work and talent. Welcoming remarks were addressed by Acting Rector of SSUGIT Svetlana Sergeevna Yankelevich, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs Igor Aleksandrovich Musikhin, Vice Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities Natalia Borisovna Kirilova, and Institute Directors Valery Gennadyevich Salnikov (Institute of Geodesy and Management), Aelita Vladimirovna Shaburova (Institute of Optics and Information Security Technologies), and Alexey Viktorovich Dubrovsky (Institute of Cadastre and Nature Management).

– The World of Science and Creativity Festival is our university's calling card. It brings together students and faculty who shape the future with their research, discoveries, and ideas. The awards are more than just distinctions; they recognize a tangible contribution to the development of SSUGIT's academic school. Every year, not only the number of participants but also the quality of the projects presented grows." "I am confident that even greater victories lie ahead,
– commented Svetlana Sergeevna Yankelevich, Acting Rector of SSUGT.

The best faculty, students, and staff, whose scientific and creative achievements this year were particularly remarkable, received well-deserved certificates and letters of gratitude. A total of 70 people were awarded—each of them made a significant contribution to the development of research and strengthening of SSUGT's scientific traditions.

– The university's youth policy is built on three pillars: science, creativity, and active citizenship. The 'World of Science and Creativity' festival is a unique platform where every student can express themselves, find like-minded people, and receive support for their initiatives. We awarded students who not only participate in the life of the university, but also set the tone, become leaders, and inspire others." I am confident that the 14th Festival will bring new discoveries and names to the forefront,
– noted Natalia Borisovna Kirilova, Vice Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities.

The ceremony was concluded by Tatyana Yuryevna Bugakova, Head of the Center for Supporting Projects and Student Initiatives and the festival's initiator. She announced the opening of the 14th Student Youth Festival "World of Science and Creativity."

New discoveries, new projects, and new victories await. The Festival continues!
