Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies celebrated the Day of Knowledge

On September 2, an event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge was held in the assembly hall of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies. The rector and representatives of the university administration congratulated the students and teachers on the holiday.

– First of all, I am grateful to the students for making the right choice and entering our university. We have a very comfortable learning environment that allows you to develop knowledge in all areas: science, sports, cultural and mass work and much more, – the rector of the university Alexander Petrovich Karpik addressed the students.

A special gift this year was the presence of official guests at the event, who also congratulated the students on the beginning of their educational activities: the executive director - director of the branch of the public-law company "Roskadastr" "Production Association Inzhgeodeziya" Yulia Evgenyevna Chukhvacheva, chief metrologist of OOO "CSM" Konstantin Aleksandrovich Shakalov, deputy director of OOO "Information Security Systems" Kirill Evgenievich Shchelkin and other guests of the event took part in the ceremony.

As part of the celebration of the Day of Knowledge, student cards were presented to first-year students of the university. In addition, a raffle of corporate prizes from SSUGT was held for newcomers on this day.

Also, students of the university performed creative numbers for the first-year students. After the ceremonial part, the first-year students met with mentors and curators in the classrooms.
