SSUGT has become a leader in working with youth in the Siberian Federal District

The Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies became the leader in the ranking of the Siberian Federal District based on the results of monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of youth policy and educational activities at the university. The study included 311 universities in the region.

– We believe that this is an excellent indicator of our work. The university has established active work with young people; interesting creative, sports, patriotic events and other activities aimed at educational work with students are constantly held. This work is also aimed at revealing talents and all the capabilities that our students can show in their extracurricular activities,” University Rector Alexander Petrovich Karpik shared his opinion.

The monitoring was carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia; a total of 590 educational institutions took part in the study. In the ranking for the Siberian Federal District, SSUGiT took 1st place. During the monitoring, 5 aspects of work with youth in Russian universities were assessed: staffing, involvement in the youth policy ecosystem, participation of students in events aimed at supporting youth initiatives, work with target partners and development of university infrastructure, public and student associations.
