Student Association Fair

On September 9, the Student Unions Fair was held in the sports hall of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies. The Student Unions Fair is an event where first-year students get acquainted with the main types of intra-university activities.

The event was attended by: the tourist club "Red Sunset", the Center for Culture and Tourism, the SSC "Panthers", the Trade Union Committee, "IT-HUB", the project office, the headquarters for providing assistance to the military and their families #MYVMESTE based at SSUGT, eco-volunteers, the People's Squad "Berkut", the SSUGT student patriotic club "I am proud", Russian student teams, the student media center "Mediasphere SSUGT", the youth club "First", the Astronomical squad of SSUGT.

The event increases the level of interest of students in acquiring additional skills in various areas of activity: volunteering, sports, creativity, event organization and much more.

During the day, first-year students from three institutes learned what each association does and what it is ready to offer its future participants. Various interactive activities were prepared for first-year students.

– Student associations vividly demonstrated their activities, each association was remembered for its identity and uniqueness, – said Maria Rutkovskaya, a specialist in working with youth, about the event.

It is also worth noting that the participants of the fair were able to receive handouts from student associations and a raffle for tickets to a concert by the artist Bushido Zho took place.
