Network of active base stations GLONASS / GPS

At present on the territory of the Novosibirsk region there has been established 31 active base stations (ABS). ABS's are located on buildings of Internal Affairs Offices and district centers' administrations. The covering area of the active coordinate space is 85%. ABS stations and the control center form a highly accurate geodetic network, which allows to perform a wide range of surveying works with a high degree of reliability and accuracy, including real time mode. Among the problems solving with the use of the ground infrastructure of GLONASS / GPS are such tasks as: geodetic support of cadastral and land survey works, monitoring of facilities, accurate navigation and equipment control.

According to the Decree of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region from January 01, 2012 in the NR all surveying work is performed on a mandatory basis in the local (regional) VAT coordinate system, which was developed at the initiative of the Siberian State University Geosystems and Technology, and in 2009 approved by the Decree of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and secured at ABS. The results of measurements of ground infrastructure of GLONASS / GPS are available to authorized users free of charge.
