The Research Institute of Strategic Development (RISD) was founded in 2013 aiming at the development and implementation of overall efficiency of the university in modern economic and social conditions.

Activities of the RISD are directed to the development of an efficient mechanism allowing the university to increase the intensity of researches. The Institute is focused on the integration and coordination of faculty activities; carrying out actual scientific researches; priority development fields of sciences and scientific disciplines corresponding to the SSUGT’s profile; realization of the university’s strategy of research activities based on the integrated approach of educational and scientific work of its departments.
